Theme: Christmas at the Movies


Kick off the holiday season in Historic Downtown Oroville with the Parade of Lights & Craft Fair—an evening filled with twinkling lights, local shopping, and hometown cheer.

Stroll through the Craft Fair at Kingdom Community Church  for last-minute holiday gifts, then bundle up and enjoy the Parade of Lights  as it winds through Downtown with decorated vehicles, floats, and walking entries.


Craft Fair:  2:00 pm – End of Parade (approx. 8:00 pm)

Location: Kingdom Community Church Parking Lot, 1235 Lincoln St.


Parade of Lights:  6:00 pm – approx. 8:00 pm

The Parade of Lights route has changed for 2025. Please review the updated route carefully—especially if your entry includes large vehicles, trailers, or long floats.


2025 Parade Route:

Starts at Montgomery St. & Lincoln St.

Travels up Lincoln St.

Left on Robinson St.

Left on Myers St.

Right on Montgomery St. to finish


Important for Parade Entries with Large Vehicles:
The new route includes turns at
Robinson St., Myers St., and Montgomery St. Please ensure your vehicle and float are able to safely navigate these turns. Entries that cannot safely complete the route may be denied participation for safety reasons.

Vendor booth locations are assigned through the online application system. Vendors choose their preferred space at the time of registration. Final booth placement may be adjusted for safety, spacing, or event layout needs.

Parade lineup order is not posted publicly. Order of entries is determined by application date, safety requirements, vehicle length, and overall parade flow. Final lineup placement is provided directly to participants before the event.
Floats are encouraged, but not required, to follow the event theme. Some entries may choose to represent their organization without a themed display.
Entries with large vehicles or trailers must ensure their float can safely navigate the route—particularly the turns at Robinson St., Myers St., and Montgomery St.

Parade Entries

Show off your holiday spirit with a lighted float, decorated vehicle, walking group, or community performance!


Key Details:

  • Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025
  • Start Time: 6:00 pm (line-up instructions provided after registration)
  • Entry Fee:
  • $35 for floats up to 100 feet in total length (nose to tail)
  • $5 per additional 20 feet for floats exceeding 100 feet


Parade Line-Up Placement:
Parade order is determined by:

  • The date we receive your completed application
  • Your entry type (vehicle, walking group, performance group, etc.)
  • Overall safety and flow of the parade

While we do our best to accommodate preferences, specific placement cannot be guaranteed.

The 2025 route includes tight turns at Robinson St., Myers St., and Montgomery St. All entries must ensure their vehicle and float can safely navigate the full route.

  • Booth Size: 10 × 10 feet
  • Booth Fees: $55–$80, depending on booth location


Booth Selection:
When you register online, you will be able to
choose your booth location from the event map:

  • Green spaces: Retail, craft, and informational booths
  • Red spaces: Food booth spaces

If you require more space, you must purchase additional adjacent 10 × 10 spaces.
