Kick off the holiday season in Historic Downtown Oroville with the Parade of Lights & Craft Fair—an evening filled with twinkling lights, local shopping, and hometown cheer.

Stroll through the Craft Fair at Kingdom Community Church for holiday gifts, treats, and seasonal finds, then bundle up and enjoy the Parade of Lights as it winds through Downtown Oroville with decorated vehicles, floats, and walking entries.


Craft Fair:
2:00 pm – End of Parade (approx. 8:00 pm)
Kingdom Community Church Parking Lot, 1235 Lincoln St.


Parade of Lights:
6:00 pm – approx. 8:00 pm

Parade Route & Event Map

The 2026 Parade of Lights will follow the same route used in 2025 through Historic Downtown Oroville. Please review the parade route carefully—especially if your entry includes large vehicles, trailers, or long floats.


2026 Parade Route:

  • Starts at Montgomery St. & Lincoln St.
  • Travels up Lincoln St.
  • Left on Robinson St.
  • Right on Huntoon St.
  • Left on High St.
  • Left on Myers St.
  • Right on Montgomery St. to finish


Important for Parade Entries with Large Vehicles:
This route includes multiple turns at
Robinson St., Myers St., and Montgomery St. All entries must ensure their vehicle and float can safely navigate the full route. Entries that cannot safely complete the route may be denied participation for safety reasons.

Map of the 2026 Parade of Lights & Craft Fair route in Downtown Oroville. The parade staging area begins on Arlin Rhine Memorial Drive, with the parade starting near Montgomery and Huntoon Streets. The route travels south on Huntoon, west on Bird Street, north on Myers Street, and west on Montgomery Street before ending near the Oroville Convention Center. Blue circles on the map indicate street barricades. Gray star icons mark portable toilet locations. Labels show float check-in at Montgomery and Oliver Streets, the marching band lineup area, and the parade start and announcements location.

Participate in the Parade of Lights & Craft Fair

Parade Entries

Show off your holiday spirit with a lighted float, decorated vehicle, walking group, or community performance!

  • Start Time: 6:00 pm
  • Entry Fee:
  • $35 for floats up to 100 feet (nose to tail)
  • $5 per additional 20 feet over 100 feet


Parade Line-Up Placement:
Parade order is determined by:

  • Application submission date
  • Entry type (vehicle, walking group, performance, etc.)
  • Safety considerations and parade flow

Specific placement requests cannot be guaranteed.

Craft Fair Vendors

Join the Craft Fair at Kingdom Community Church and connect with hundreds of shoppers searching for holiday gifts, treats, and décor.

  • Time: 2:00 pm – End of Parade
  • Location: Kingdom Community Church Parking Lot
  • Booth Size: 10 × 10 feet
  • Booth Fees: $55–$80 (based on location)


Booth Selection:
During registration, vendors choose from available spaces on the event map:

  • Green spaces: Retail, craft, and informational booths
  • Red spaces: Food booths

Additional space requires the purchase of adjacent 10 × 10 booths.


Vendor Guidelines:
All setup times, product requirements, and expectations are included in the online application.
