​FOREBAY AQUATIC CENTER


Located on the north side of Oroville, CA off Hwy 70, the Forebay Aquatic Center is located in a State Recreation Area on the edge of a beautiful lake. In addition to swimming and picnicking, they offer Kayak, Paddle Board, Peddle Boat, Canoe and Beach, Water Toy Rentals. Snacks, ice cream and drinks are also available. They offer group events, salmon spawning tours, full moon floats, summer camps and school field trips. Dogs are welcome on leash! There is an $8 per vehicle State Park entrance fee.

Lake Oroville State Recreation Area


Lake Oroville recreation area encompasses about 28,450 acres near the City of Oroville. The park offers a variety of outdoor recreation activities including boating, fishing, water sports, swimming, horseback riding, biking, hiking and wildlife viewing. The area includes Oroville Lake, as well as the Feather River – both excellent fishing spots. The Lake Oroville Visitor Center has a museum, exhibits, videos and a store. Dogs on leashes are welcome.

Pools


There are two public pools to cool down in during the summer. Both pools offer swim lessons and open swim times.
