Celebrate America 250 in Oroville
Join us for Oroville's Fourth of July Celebration as we commemorate America's 250th anniversary with a day full of community spirit and patriotic festivities.
Begin your day exploring Oroville's local farmers markets, dining and shopping in Downtown Oroville, then gather at Riverbend Park for an evening of food, entertainment, and fireworks.
The celebration at Riverbend Park will feature food vendors beginning at 5:00 PM, a patriotic pre-show program and National Anthem at 9:00 PM, and a spectacular fireworks show at 9:30 PM.
Whether you're a longtime resident or visiting for the holiday weekend, Oroville's Fourth of July Celebration offers a welcoming and family-friendly way to celebrate Independence Day.

Legacy at Feather Falls Brewing Company

If you're 21 or older, continue your Fourth of July celebration at Feather Falls Brewing Company inside Feather Falls Casino Resort.
Legacy, Northern California's premier Foreigner tribute band, will perform a free concert featuring classic hits including Jukebox Hero, Cold As Ice, Urgent, and I Want to Know What Love Is.
Show seating begins at 9:45 PM.

Riverbend Park will serve as the primary public viewing location for the Oroville Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks Show.
Important Park Rules
To help maintain a safe and family-friendly environment, the following are prohibited within Riverbend Park:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Glass containers
- Smoking
- Open flames
- Personal fireworks
- Illegal substances
Dogs are welcome at Riverbend Park but must remain on leash at all times.
Attendees found with prohibited items may be asked to remove the items from the park or leave the event.
What to Bring
Attendees are encouraged to bring:

- Picnic-style seating
- Sunscreen
- Water bottles
Restrooms
Permanent restroom facilities are available at Riverbend Park.
Additional portable restrooms will be available throughout the event thanks to support from the California Department of Water Resources (DWR).

Parking & Free Shuttle Service
Attendees are encouraged to park at one of the designated shuttle parking locations and utilize the complimentary shuttle service to Riverbend Park.
Thanks to the Thermalito Union School District, free shuttle service will be available throughout the evening.

Shuttle service will transport attendees from these parking locations to Riverbend Park.
Shuttle Schedule
- 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Shuttles will provide transportation from the designated parking lots to Riverbend Park.
- 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Shuttle service will pause during the America 250 Patriotic Program and Fireworks Show.
- Beginning at 10:00 PM: Shuttle service will resume for outbound transportation only, returning attendees from Riverbend Park to the designated parking lots.

Bedrock Park is located a short walk from Riverbend Park and may serve as a convenient alternative if parking is still available.
Attendees planning to park at Riverbend Park or Bedrock Park are encouraged to arrive early, as parking availability may become limited closer to the fireworks show.

Is there an admission fee?
No. Admission to the Oroville Fourth of July Celebration at Riverbend Park is free.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
No. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted within Riverbend Park.
Can I bring lawn chairs and blankets?
Yes. Lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic-style seating are encouraged.
What time should I arrive?
Riverbend Park will be open beginning at sunrise on July 4.
Food vendors will begin serving at 5:00 PM, and complimentary shuttle service will begin operating at 6:30 PM.
The America 250 Patriotic Program and National Anthem begin at 9:00 PM, followed by the fireworks show at 9:30 PM.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive well before the patriotic program to secure parking, find a viewing location, enjoy food vendors, and experience the full celebration.
When does Riverbend Park open?
Riverbend Park will be open beginning at sunrise on July 4, 2026. Attendees are welcome to arrive throughout the day and are encouraged to come early to secure their preferred viewing location for the fireworks show.
Where can I park?
Parking will be available at Riverbend Park and at designated shuttle locations. Additional parking information will be announced as the event approaches.
Can I take a shuttle to Riverbend Park after 9:00 PM?
No. Shuttle service into Riverbend Park will end at 9:00 PM. Shuttle service will pause during the patriotic program and fireworks show and will resume at 10:00 PM for outbound transportation from Riverbend Park only.
Is food available?
Yes. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Oroville's local restaurants and eateries throughout the day before heading to Riverbend Park.
Food vendors at Riverbend Park will begin serving at 5:00 PM and will offer a variety of food, dessert, and specialty beverage options throughout the evening celebration.
Are restrooms available?
Yes. Riverbend Park has permanent restroom facilities, and additional portable restrooms will be available throughout the event thanks to support from the California Department of Water Resources (DWR).
What happens if it rains?
The celebration will take place rain or shine unless otherwise announced by event organizers.
What measures are taken to prevent fire danger?
The safety of our community is the highest priority for the Oroville Fourth of July Celebration.
Event organizers work closely with CAL FIRE, the City of Oroville, and other public safety partners throughout the planning process to evaluate fire conditions and implement appropriate safety measures.
If severe weather conditions, high winds, or other circumstances create an elevated fire risk, event organizers will consult with public safety officials regarding the viability of the event.
In the past, fireworks shows have been canceled when weather conditions created unacceptable fire danger. If public safety officials determine that conditions are unsafe, the event may be modified, postponed, or canceled.
Any event updates will be communicated through official Oroville Economic Alliance channels, VisitOroville.com, and local media outlets.
