October is almost over, but there is still plenty to do in Oroville to celebrate. Over the next week there are activities for kids, for adults, and fun for the whole family.
October 20 Start the celebration off by heading to the Lake Oroville Visitor Center for their Annual Harvest Fest. Enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Oroville from their viewing tower while enjoying everything a festival has to offer; games, food, crafts and more. The festivities will be running from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. October 25 On Thursday bring your kids to the Hearthstone Charter School Harvest Carnival. Children will be entertained with the Dragon Theatre and Shakey’s Pizza is offering pizza for only $2 a slice. The carnival will be happening at the school from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. October 26 & 27 If you’re feeling hungry head to Gold Country Casino on either this Friday or Saturday evening at 6:30 pm. At this Murder Mystery Dinner come dressed as your favorite pirate as the Gibson House Mystery Performers present “Pirates of the Gulf”. A four course dinner is included with the entertainment for the price of $40 per individual and $70 per couple. October 27 Fill your whole evening with spooky events on this Saturday. Start off at the YMCA of Oroville for their new Halloween Carnival and some family fun. Admission is free and there is the opportunity to win at the game booths from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. At 7:00 pm the adults will have a night of fun ahead of them. In Historic Downtown Oroville several venues have banded together to bring you the Halloween Spooktacular. Specialty cocktails, treats, and music will be provided along with a costume contest. After you have experienced the bounty of Historic Downtown Oroville head up the hill to Gold Country Casino and Hotel for their event, A Nightmare on Olive Highway Halloween Party. For $15 experience a Spooktacular Nightmare in their Event Center until 1:00 am. October 28 Lastly, end your spooky week by spending time with zombies in the great outdoors of Oroville. Combat Zone Paintball Park is opening up their paintball fields for a Zombie Halloween Big Game. Pay $10 and play the game for prizes from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. We hope you have a festive and spooky October! Comments are closed.
